The New Canvas Turbo - from micromax
The company that was once known for launching budget smartphones in India has launched a series of impressive mid-ranged smartphones including the Canvas Doodle 2, Canvas 4, Canvas HD and now the Canvas Turbo.
The phablet, comes with an aluminium build, similar to what we have seen on the Canvas Doodle 2. With 5 inches display and 1920x1080 pixel resolution, you get 15MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. With android 4.2 jellybean and a 16gb internal storage. The Canvas Turbo has the MediaTek MT6589T chipset with the CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. The Canvas Turbo supports GSM and 3G networks.
The only thing I didn't like is, the phone does not support any memory expansion. Talking about the design it is nice, light and well built. You have the standard three capacitive buttons that appear below the display. The rear of the phone is aluminium making it look really sturdy.
The most loving feature of the phone - its camera
On the camera front, it comes with a 13-megapxiel BSI sensor on the rear side with support for auto-focus and LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front shooter. The company has come with a quirkily named “Camerazzi” camera app that adds several new features. For instance, Cinemagraph allows users to animate still photographs. The 360 degree Panorama capture weaves together individual shots to create one panorama image. Users can get rid of unwanted objects and improve images with the Object Eraser feature.
Coming to the battery, it comes with a non-removable Li-ion 2000 mAh battery, with upto 105h of standby and 7h talktime.
Supports bluetooth 4.0 , microUSB 2.0 and a 3.5mm jack. Dimensions : 128.3 x 71 x 8.6 mm (5.05 x 2.80 x 0.34 in)
So, if you're looking for an android phone below 20,000 this dual-sim smarty is a sure yes for you. Go, grab it now !
